Stetson Wright has shown again that he is not afraid to push himself to new heights. The 23-year-old rodeo star entered the Cheyenne Frontier Days to defend his title in saddle bronc riding. As the reigning PRCA All-Around and Bull Riding World Champion, Wright has already amassed a huge wealth of $1,500,000. This year the young bull rider was able to add a further $16,006.48 to his career earnings at the Cheyenne Frontier Days.

Despite the pressure of defending his title, Wright’s determination allowed him to continue his successful streak and increase his already impressive wealth. Wright’s chances looked bleak after the accident from last year that seriously injured the young bull-rider. But from what we saw in the Cheyenne Frontier Days recently and the Cody (Wyo.) Stampede, it looked like he was in great form.

In 2022, while bull-riding, Wright suffered a near-fatal accident that left him with severe injuries and uncertain if he would ever compete again. He was hit by an incoming bull at full force, which caused him to fly backward and fall to the ground. The impact was so powerful that it fractured multiple bones in his body, and he had bruises all over. Stetson would have lost his life if a fellow bull-rider hadn’t come between him and the angry bull. The rider, Cody Webster, also suffered injuries as the bull hit him on the face and chest with hoofs.

Stetson made a miraculous recovery and was happy to compete at the rodeo once again. The Cheyenne Frontier Days also dubbed the “Daddy of ’em All,” brings together some of the best bull riders in the world. Stetson was determined to prove himself and showcase his skills at this prestigious event. Wright successfully managed to clinch the all-around cowboy title from his competitors. According to ProRodeo.com, Stetson earned “$16,006.48, saddle bronc riding and bull riding”. He has achieved massive success at such a tender age and credits his family for all his achievements.
