There is no such thing as a risk-free bull ride since the sport is fraught with dangers that make each ride unique and unforgettable. The cowboys know completely that they just have eight seconds to prove themselves to the judge and the bull. When a rider is bucked off by a bull, the bull has the option of leaving that individual alone or showing no compassion; hence, the sport has a dark side. The cowboys are constantly on guard since nobody wants to be seriously hurt or even killed while competing. Even though he has never won a PBR world championship, veteran cowboy Chase Outlaw has been a respected member of the community for over a decade and has overcome adversity and triumph in equal measure.

The Ride, a program about bull riding, is now available to view on Amazon Prime, and it depicts the inherent dangers of the sport. PBR’s official YouTube account has uploaded a clip from the program in which renowned American cowboy Chase Outlaw reveals an overlooked fact about the sport.

The video is concluded, but anyone interested in learning more about the life of the seasoned cowboy may do so by watching the Amazon Prime series The Ride. Chase Outlaw finished 47th in the PBR this year and is hoping to finally break through in the league series.
