American actor Jason Momoa has become a global superstar thanks to his portrayal of the DC Comics hero Aquaman. The physical demands of playing Aquaman, a beloved character among fans, are significant. Yet, Jason overcame the obstacles and now has a large audience thanks to his portrayal of the legendary character. The actor used a peculiar method to stay physically fit, like a bodybuilding star, for the job and he once spoke about it.
Jason Momoa was interviewed by Chris Van Vliet of WSVN-TV in 2018. They discussed many aspects of the film, but Chris was most surprised to hear that Jason had credited beer with helping him lose weight and get in shape for the role of Aquaman.
An interesting trick to get pumped like a bodybuilding star

Chris Van Vliet and Jason Momoa had a lengthy conversation about the film. Jason, however, wished to disclose to Chris something that he had never discussed with anyone else. The actor reminisces about his time on set during the production of Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice in 2016. The actor also sought to get into shape for the filming, so this wasn’t simply something that happened to him. Suddenly, he had a really bizarre notion.
Jason then talks about his bizarre trick, saying, “So I was doing that whole thing, and my body wasn’t showing up and it wasn’t happening, and I go to my trainer at the time. I go, give me a Guinness. Give me a Guinness, and so right before we did the underwater thing, I cracked two Guinness, pounded them, and my body’s like…My whole thing, my whole body, you can see like my veins going like.”

As soon as he drank the beer, he was so pumped that his veins were visible throughout his body.
Chris also chuckled while saying, “Beer is the secret,” and Jason also replied to him as he said, “For me.”

To portray Aquaman in DC’s cinematic world, Jason Momoa did the same, getting into incredible shape. Momoa’s preparation for Aquaman may have differed from what most actors do, but it helped him maintain the dedication necessary to achieve those heroic results.

His routine includes weighted dips, pullups, pushups, and squats. The first round consists of 7 sets of 7 reps with 7 seconds of rest. The next round consists of six sets of six reps with six seconds of rest, and the last round consists of five sets of five reps with five seconds of rest, with a maximum of two minutes of rest between rounds. This is the whole regimen he did to stay in shape as Aquaman.
