Michal Krizo Krizanek, a superstar in Slovakia’s bodybuilding scene, needs no introduction. Slovakia native and IFBB pro bodybuilder Krizanek has made a big impression on the bodybuilding community via his social accounts. In October 2022, Krizanek met the requirements to compete in Mr. Olympia, and he received high praise from none other than four-time Mr. Olympia Jay Cutler. The fact that he finished 12th in the competition didn’t deter the Slovak monster. Even though most of the top bodybuilders are taking time off right now, Krizanek is using it to his advantage by gaining muscle in his back and arms.
Michal Krizo Krizanek has recently uploaded a video on YouTube as he worked his monstrous back and arms. This comes as a shock to many in the bodybuilding community who probably didn’t expect to see the Slovakian beast in the gym during the offseason.

The Slovak beast shocked the bodybuilding community by winning the 2022 Prague Pro and earning a spot in the 2022 Mr. Olympia competition. As he pulled off his jogger’s jacket at the Olympia press conference and struck his now-famous muscle-flexing posture, he stood out as a towering mass monster with giant arms linked to rock shoulders. But his potential was short-lived. In fact, he was placed 12th when Hadi Choopan shocked the world by winning Mr. Olympia 2022. Recently, Krizanek has been seen at Gou Gym in Prievidza, Slovakia, working on his arms and back.
Underhand lat pulldowns, seated cable rows, bent-over barbell rows, E-Z bar curls from a seated position, alternating cable biceps curls, and dumbbell shrugs were all part of Krizanek’s routine. He did not utilize lifting straps to eliminate the grip as a limiting factor while doing lat pulldowns. He was also working on tightening his lats while lifting the whole weight stack on the cable machine, which taxed his forearms and grip.
Krizanek started with three sets of lat pulldowns and then moved on to seated rows. As his back rested, he worked on his biceps with an underhand grip and bent-over barbell rows. He began his routine for his biceps with sitting E-Z bar curls. Krizanek finished up his workout with a set of dumbbell shrugs.
