When shattered knees once threatened to silence her skiing, Lindsey Vonn, at 40, is back in 10th place in the Skiing World Cup. In February 2019, many followers felt that Lindsey Vonn’s legendary skiing journey ended–well, for the time being–following a devastating knee injury. It was a disheartening decision for Lindsey and the skiing enthusiasts worldwide, yet she came back.

And that’s it. Well, not really at all.
