There are many rodeo events held around the year at different places. The purpose of these rodeos is to keep the cowboy tradition alive through entertainment. Along with rodeo events, there are other activities and events to attract the crowd like food stalls and community gathering places.
In these events, people of all age groups participate to show their talent. In a rodeo recently held at Allen County Fairgrounds a sixteen-year-old boy stunned everyone with his skills and talent. The rodeo featured a variety of events with different performers but, the skill of the teen grabbed the eyes of the spectators.

The Lima Stampede Rodeo was held at Allen County Fairgrounds last Saturday. At the rodeo horses, cattle, other stocks, and cowboys from across the country arrived. The event featured young and old in steer wrestling, bronc riding, and other challenges. The environment was electric during which a sixteen-year-old Preston Rodriguez from Michigan surprised the audience with his rodeo skills.
When he was asked about how he learned those skills he replied by saying has trained and had worked with animals all his life. The young cowboy explained that skill is not just knowing how to ride a horse or pull off a stunt, it is beyond that. The teen cowboy further said, “It takes a lot because it’s not just you, you have to train your horses and make sure that they can deal with all these sounds and people and take the pressure.” He also said that the one he rode is still learning and it’s been training for years. The Lima Stampede Rodeo abought the thrill back to the Allen County Fairgrounds.

Lima stampede rodeo event
The Lima Stampede Rodeo was held after a gap of many years. This year it was organized with features that attract whole family entertainment. Speaking at the rodeo event the Promotions and Operations Manager of Fairground said, “We were pretty excited to get one locked down to come back to the fairgrounds because it seems that every time we have a rodeo out here it’s a very highly attended event.”

Prior to the rodeo, a food truck rally was organized which featured a diverse set of trucks offering different types of food. The manager said the food truck rally was a “unique and cool addition” that attracted large crowds. But, the main event was at Horse Pavilion where all the rodeo events were held.
