Katie Ledecky said, “there’s great competition in my events right now and so it’s really exciting, it pushes me every day and I know I need to get better.”
She shared how swimming is extremely competitive and that’s what pushes her. She finds it exciting, and it motivates her to work harder and get better at the sport.

Ledecky and her journey with swimming
Ledecky began swimming at six. During high school, Ledecky twice set the record for 500-yard freestyle in the American and US Open. Moreover, she also set the national high school record twice in the 200-yard freestyle.
