She, along with her husband, Michael Phelps, was blessed with a child before the Rio Olympics. Boomer Phelps, a few weeks old, back then, while traveling to his life?s first Olympics, was already taking the internet by storm.?

The Cosmopolitan spoke with Johnson regarding everyone obsessing over the boy?s Instagram account, being in a foreign continent amidst a deadly virus scare. Nicole shared her two cent?s on her husband’s new cupping technique.

Upon being asked if she was worried about her son growing up, in an age when social media was both a curse and a blessing, Johnson stated, ?I definitely agree and it’s a concern, but I don’t think Michael or I expected it to blow up the way that it did.?

Michael Phelps operates Boomer?s Instagram account. His wife said that she was conceived earlier than expected which helped the couple to consolidate their decision to travel to Rio with him.
