USWNT Star Alex Morgan Appointed as Chief Inspiration Officer in a Company That Raised $7M Dollars

Alex Morgan, the USWNT star, is expanding her business investments as she joins the hiring platform Teamable, as an investor and as the Chief Inspiration Officer. Recently, she provided fans with an insight into her business endeavor.

Alex Morgan is an American professional soccer player. She plays as a striker and is the captain of San Diego Wave FC of the National Women’s Soccer League. At 22, Morgan was the youngest player on the national team at the 2011 FIFA Women’s World Cup.

Notably, Morgan also co-captained the United States women’s national team with Carli Lloyd and Megan Rapinoe from 2018 to 2020. However, now, as she reaches the tail-end of her soccer career, she is making waves elsewhere in the business world.

Morgan has joined ties with a hiring platform called Teamable. She will get on board as an investor and the chief inspiration officer of the company. The company reportedly offers hybrid hiring services. Their systems combine A.I.-powered software with human recruiters.

Furthermore, she will serve as a strategic adviser to the executive team. Talking about this venture, she said, “It’s an interesting transition period for me. I definitely see myself as an entrepreneur.”

Teamable, the San Francisco company has raised $7 million to date. Now, having someone with Morgan’s stature onboard will definitely prove to be beneficial for both the company and the star herself. Teamable CEO Justin Palmer states Morgan is a celebrity who understands the company and is also willing to support the firm in whatever ways possible.

Morgan is a martial artist

Not many are aware that Alex Morgan is, in fact, a martial artist. Morgan holds a black belt in Kyokushin karate. She incorporates this into her rigorous workout routine as well. Notably, Morgan has claimed that it improves her balance, flexibility, strength, and discipline.
