The prestigious $1.25 million Travers Stakes is scheduled to happen next month. Intending to win the title, the horses have started to arrive at the Saratoga Race Course. Among those arriving is the Mage, the three-year-old colt trained by Gustavo Delgado.

He arrived from Monmouth Park after finishing in second place at the Haskell Stakes grade 1 race in July. The Haskell Stakes was won by Geaux Rocket Ride. He started his training after two days after arriving at the course. He is one of the contenders in the race and carry’s hopes of his stakeholders.

Mage arrives for Travers

Worth more than two million dollars Mage started his training at the Oklahoma Training Track. He was jogging with the exercise rider, J.J. Delgado. Mage race track records

The three-year-old colt started its race in 2023. Born in 2020 is the son of Good Magic and Puca. The colt was bred in Kentucky, United States by Grandview Equine. He started in six races and got a first position in two races, a second position in two races, and third position in one race. His first three races were at Gulf Stream Park. Where he won the first position in January, the fourth position in March, and the second position in April. He won his next at the Kentucky Derby, Churchill Downs, at the beginning of May. Then at the end of May, he again raced at the Pimlico Racecourse, where he finished in third place. His last race was at Monmouth.

The performance of the Mage has been competitive throughout his six races, which gives the stakeholders hope for the Travers.
