In an Instagram post, Elora Explora, a diving enthusiast, shared a fascinating story of her friendship with an octopus. The friendship took place at Off The Wall Dive Center and Resort in Belize. In the clips, the diver is seen interacting with Egbert, the name given to the octopus by her.

In one of the clips, the diver can be seen extending her hand towards the creature. It also outstretched its arm and greeted her warmly. Thus, the seed of friendship was sown. In another instance, the diver offered some food to the creature, and it trusted her and took the food. The next day she again went to the same spot, and the octopus recognized her.

The octopus immediately came forward, stretching its arms. During the visit, she helped the creature in by pulling a piece of wood so that it can pass through. Before that, Egbert pulled her arm towards the wood as if it was asking her for help. When she realized that the eight-legged creature was curious about her stuff, she started to bring gifts. She bought a mirror, an Egbert jar with food in it, which the octopus opened on its own, and a shell. Honestly, Elora Explora’s friendship with the octopus has opened the door to new possibilities for diving enthusiasts.
