Even after a decade of his conviction, people are still interested in Armstrong’s recent ventures. Irish journalist Paul Kimmage also wanted something similar. Paul Kimmage played a major role in bringing out Armstrong’s controversy back then.
The Feud between Lance Armstrong and Paul Kimmage
However, fans were not sure whether Kimmage genuinely wants to cover Armstrong’s story or just wanted to settle old scores. Recently he revealed his angle on the doping controversy in a two-part news piece. He put serious allegations against Armstrong and called him a ‘cancer’ to the world of cycling.
🤔. @PaulKimmage – you’re a 🤡. Move on dude. https://t.co/nrYfEGEPMo pic.twitter.com/dH8xkRb5Fj

Lance Armstrong didn’t take this incident lightly and bashed Paul on Twitter. He tweeted “@PaulKimmage – you’re a [Joker emoji]. Move on dude.” The tweet sparked a new controversy between the old foes.
Lance also attached a picture in the tweet. The picture featured in an old email from Paul dated back in August 2022. The Irish journalist was asking Lance Armstrong to come up for an interview. Armstrong wouldn’t have probably replied to Kimmage’s request.
Fans’ reaction to the latest spat
After Armstrong’s bold tweet, this online spat expectedly garnered a lot of reactions from the fans. The controversy is getting mixed reactions from both sides. One fan supported Paul and questioned Lance.
Wait, so the guy who was right all along is somehow the clown in this situation?

Another fan supported Lance Armstrong and claimed that even after taking drugs, nobody can win seven consecutive Tour De France titles.
Far as Im concerned, back then EVERY Pro doped.
And Armstrong was the best rider. 7 times.
Yes, he lied.
He still won 7 Tours. Two after testicular cancer.
No other human, doped or not, will achieve that feat. Or close to it.
That cant ever be taken away

One of Armstrong’s fans sarcastically advised him to do the interview as it would be like one of his charity
I think you should. It only benefits him, but sometimes charity is a good thing. It would be a interesting Forward podcast. It was have to be released unedited.
