Roger was saddened by the confession of Lance Armstrong

Roger Federer was playing at the Australian Open when this news came out. He was both shocked and saddened by this terrible news. Federer held Lance accountable for hurting the sentiments of so many fans and athletes. He said, “Obviously he’s hurt his sport in a big way, even though he helped it in the beginning.”

He said that this event had not only destroyed Lance’s career but would also affect other sports as well. “But now the burden they live under, all other sports maybe as well,” he added.

Roger Federer didn’t even watch the whole interview

The tennis legend Federer told the press that he watched the first few portions of the interview, but then there wasn’t much left for him to see. “I guess all I needed to see was the first few minutes and then I knew what was the deal, and the rest I don’t really care,” Federer said.

This is a humiliation for every honest and hardworking athlete. “I’m an active athlete right now, and it’s not fun times really to be in sports to a degree,‘ Federer added.
