

Bodybuilding legend Flex Wheeler recently received praise from a budding bodybuilder who he trained for this year’s Mr. Olympia. Aiko Liu, who is also known amongst his fans as the Little Hulk, is all set to compete this weekend for the upcoming Mr. Olympia Classic Physique championship. The athlete recently underwent several health complications including recovering from an eye surgery. And he had Flex to thank for the latter’s constant support and guidance through his journey.

Aiko Liu has previously been competing in the amateur bodybuilding circuit in Hong Kong for the past 5 years. And he is all set to compete at Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino this weekend in Las Vegas, Nevada, battling out with the very best for the crown. At the onset of the biggest competition of his life, Liu made a heartfelt confession on his Instagram, thanking the record four-time Arnold Classic winner.
Little Hulk scripts an unfeigned note for his mentor Flex Wheeler
Liu captioned his December 14th Instagram post as ‘The calm before the storm’. Further, he is seen baring his ripped physique, sitting on a chair across from Wheeler, who is looking sternly at the eyepatch Liu is wearing. Apparently, Liu had to take approximately a seven-week-long sabbatical due to an unfortunate turn of events. From food poisoning, an eye infection, and a broken ankle, Liu had fought a challenging health battle.

“Life is full of surprises I guess, but flex still put his trust in me, doing everything he can while I’m here to make sure I’m perfect for the competition,” stated the Little Hulk. The Sultan reposted Liu’s message on his Instagram. Take a look!
The impact of The Sultan of Symmetry on Liu’s life is not news. Tracing the dots from 2018, Liu penned, “3 years ago when I met @officialflexwheeler (Flex Wheeler) I was just a skinny boy who’s trying to get better in this bodybuilding gig, no way that I thought he had given me that much attention and now we are legitimately in the biggest amateur show competing for a pro card.”

Liu is all set for competing for the crown this weekend
The journey hasn’t been easy. But persistent hard work has paid off as the athlete gets ready to compete for this weekend against bigshots like Daddy CBum at Vegas. “And now we are legitimately in the biggest amateur show competing for a pro card.”

He concluded by reiterating his steady focus on his goals. “This has been one hell of a journey, but now I’m ready to do this mentally and physically. I’m gonna f**king display the best version ever,” he said.
