Arnold Schwarzenegger came to America in 1968. For the next three decades, the Austrian carved out historic careers in bodybuilding and acting. Arnold won the Mr. Olympia title seven times and became one of the biggest action stars of the 80s. However, Arnold also had a deep interest in politics. In fact, Schwarzenegger said that he decided to call himself a republican soon after arriving in America.

In 2003, the former Mr. Olympia became the Governor of California. Since then, “The Terminator” actor has ceaselessly worked for the state, even though he is no longer the governor. So it’s not surprising that Arnold met with the Attorney General candidate to discuss the future of the state.
Arnold Schwarzenegger meets with Attorney General candidate
On October 26, Nathan Hochman tweeted about meeting up with Arnold Schwarzenegger. Hochman is the republican candidate running for the election to become Attorney General of California. Nathan has had a long and successful career in law. After earning his law degree from Stanford, Nathan worked under a federal judge and became an Assistant US Attorney for California.
Hochman, whose parents were also public servants, is running against democrat Rob Bonta. The election will take place on November 8, 2022. In the tweet, Nathan wrote, “I had a great meeting with Governor (Arnold Schwarzenegger) today — we discussed California’s future, solutions for its safety and security crisis, and the importance of strong leadership.”

As hinted in the caption, Nathan is looking to tackle the rising security and safety concerns of the state. LA times recently reported that the crime rate in California has been steadily rising for the past few years. Hence, Nathan sat down with Arnold to discuss handling these tough challenges.

Arnold Schwarzenegger is a true pioneer. In 2006, the governor signed the California Global Warming Solutions Act. The act aimed to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and was also the first act of its kind in America.

No one knows the exact subject of Nathan and Arnold’s conversation. However, the caption hints it was about making positive change. We have to wait till November 8 to see if Hochman emerges victorious. If Hochman wins, we might also see the pair working closely in the future.
