The PBR through the years has grown to be just the place for the rodeo aspirants. While the team series pulls the veterans and the best of the industry, the Challenger Series provides a starting ground for beginners. The latter of the series lasting from July to November provides bull riders a chance to participate and grow across more than 60 events and 27 states; associated with PBR or not.

And leading the series, young John Crimber has been climbing the ladder one event at a time in the hopes of making it to the top 40. Now, as the youngster achieved his 7th Challenger Series title, he took to Instagram to share the winning moment. The fans and spectators poured in appreciation and love to the young sensation.

Rising talent shares rodeo victory online

John Crimber credits his interest to the background he hails from. The youngster, son to a renowned bull rider, and coach to Arizona Ridge Riders, stumbled upon his passion as a 6-year-old. With a little help from his father and a lot of talent, John Crimber made it to the rodeo world quick and well.

Now competing at another one of the PBR Challenger Series on Saturday, John took home not just the title but the admiration of those present. As he performed at Ruidoso Racetrack’s stands, in New Mexico, the youngster reigned the arena outshining the rest of the contenders. Riding atop Tootsie Roll for the first round, Crimber scored an 85.5 followed by an 82.5 atop Butterfly Kiss. Putting on a score riding atop to Bulls, Crimber reigned as the only rider for the night to go 2-for-2.

By the end of the night, John had earned his 7th Challenger Series title in a matter of a month and a half since his debut alongside a total challenger points of 126. Sharing his moment of pride, John took to Instagram to post the performance. Captioning the same, he wrote, “Blessed to be 85.5 on “Tootsie Roll” of Danny’s then got “Butterfly Kisses” stuck in the short round to pull the win at the PBR in Ruidoso.”

John’s performance was one for impression and examples. And as the video surfaced, spectators on the watch couldn’t help but send in their admiration for the young bull rider.

Online community pours in praise for John Crimber

If there’s one thing that fans collectively thought of Crimber’s performance, it was fire. The supporters were quick to send in the emoticons in response to the rider’s performance. The fans then chimed in to send the youngster their appreciation. While one of the comments read, “Congratulations!!!”, the other sent encouragement, “Let’s goooo.” 

Impressed by the showcase, a user wrote, “Damn good rides buddy! Keep that fire burning hot,” while the other posted an agreeable remark, “Born to be Champion.” Continuing along, the fans had to say, “Absolutely the rankest man on the market rn! Hands down period no questions,” which was followed by more cherishing. “You are one sticky dude, young man. Very impressive.”

John Crimber, as an 18-year-old, has fallen no short of admiration and respect. The rider is next speculated to make his presence at Challenger Series’ next stop; Texas on October 5th. With his persisting determination and talent, John is definitely the one to be on the lookout for.
