America has produced some legendary sprinters over the years, and an athlete who tops that elite list is Allyson Felix. At 36, she is the most decorated female sprinter in history.
After her beef with Nike in 2018, Felix partnered with Athleta, a women’s lifestyle brand. This was an iconic step for her as she rolled the wheels of change into motion.

Now, in 2022, Athleta has signed a deal with singer Alicia Keys. Felix is quite excited by the news as she took to Twitter to post about the same.

In 2018, when Allyson Felix was pregnant with her daughter, she had a fallout with her then sponsors, Nike, and hence, terminated her contract. After suggestions of receiving a pay cut, because of her pregnancy, were made, Felix decided to step away from the brand and their equation.
Post her departure, she signed a deal with Athleta, a female-focused lifestyle brand. Following in her footsteps, even star gymnast, Simone Biles, signed a deal with Athleta.

As a brand, Athleta is run on the backbones of female power, and is also focused on women only, with one of their core mottos being, “women for women.” Now, Athleta has partnered with American singer and songwriter, Alicia Keys. They will be focusing on women’s empowerment and well-being, together.
Felix took to Twitter to share her excitement regarding this collaboration.
“Love this. So excited for all of the incredible work we?ll all be able to do together. The Team is winning!!” tweeted Felix, tagging Alicia Keys.
Alicia Keys will be joining the brand as a mentor and advisor from the month of March. Felix is really excited about working with Keys, and undoubtedly, this will be an iconic collaboration of two very powerful women.
Felix believes that the road to the Olympics is lonely
Allyson Felix competes in the 200m and the 400m races. She has proved to be exceptionally good at both, with a total of 11 Olympic medals to show for.
However, to achieve this kind of success, Felix had to sacrifice a lot of things, as she reveals that the road to the Olympics can be very lonely.
?Being an Olympic athlete can be kind of a lonely road, and being a track athlete can feel more isolating than some of the team sports,? Felix said.

Due to her strict routine, Felix ended up missing a lot of the events she wanted to be in. But at the same time, she loves the sport and gives it her best.
??A lot of my life has been traveling and missing birthdays and missing special family events. But at the same time, I?m doing what I absolutely love,” she added.
