Pavel Florin. If you haven’t heard of this name yet, you might not be into either social media or cricket. Romanian cricketer, Pavel Florin, has become and internet sensation overnight with his unusual bowling action that many people found hilarious. Bowling in the European T10 Cricket League, he is now known for his action worldwide. Few Indian fans even compared it to Ravichandran Ashwin who experiments quite a lot with his bowling action.
Representing Cluj Cricket Club in a 10-over match against Dreux Cricket Club, Florin bowled balls that were well over the batsman’s eye. In fact, the batsmen had to literally wait for the ball to first reach the eye level. However, despite the loopy bowling, he wasn’t hit for a six in the entire over.
He bowled with a short run up and almost no movement of his non bowling hand.

The action even caught the eye of former Australian cricketer Mark Waugh. “I reckon that would be very hard to hit,” he tweeted.
