UFC 264 looked to settle the score between Conor McGregor and Dustin Poirier. Although the result went in Poirier’s favor, it was only because the ‘Notorious’ Conor McGregor broke his ankle during the fight. This meant Dustin Poirier got a TKO victory, instead of a more convincing one.

McGregor’s brutal injury caught fire across the globe. However, his promo after suffering the injury and technically losing the fight also garnered some huge reactions. Why? Because McGregor mentioned Poirier’s wife again.

Many expressed displeasure over those comments, including WWE Hall of Famer Mick Foley. And now, another WWE icon has joined in the bandwagon to school Conor, but in a way only he can!

The Sheik doesn’t back down on commenting on anyone, and he did exactly that following the main event fight at UFC 264. It seems like the former WWE Champion didn’t really like the ‘Notorious‘ one’s comments post-fight and decided to school him in his style.

He took to Twitter and sent a clear message to McGregor saying talk is cheap. His usage of the word ‘McNuggets’ is a call back to UFC lightweight Tony Ferguson who coined the nickname originally. And just in case you’re wondering, he also called him a JABRONI! After all, Iron Sheik’s tweets would be incomplete without it.
