UFC President Dana White and WWE Chairman Vince McMahon share a cordial relationship. However, AEW President, Tony Khan, recently shared a move from WWE that could upset the UFC head honcho.

The AEW President took to Twitter and talked about his dinner with Dana White alongside his dad, the billionaire sports tycoon, Shahid Khan. In addition, he revealed his meeting with Warner Brothers leader and more.

Khan revealed he informed the UFC President about Vince McMahon‘s decision to move ‘Money in the Bank’ event to MGM Grand in Las Vegas. Initially, the event was planned for a stadium show; However, perhaps the absence of Roman Reigns and Brock Lesnar changed the promotion’s mind to go to a smaller venue in MGM.

“Genius move trying to take on Dana and the UFC in Vegas during International Fight Week,” Khan took a dig at WWE.

Money in the Bank‘ event falls on a similar date to UFC 276. Besides, since it’s during International Fight Week, the hype around the event gets amplified to another level.

A middleweight championship bout between ‘The Last Stylebender‘ Israel Adesanya and Jared Cannonier will headline the July 2 event. UFC 276 will take place in T-Mobile Arena in Paradise, Nevada.

The UFC has loaded the card as the co-main event will see a highly awaited trilogy bout between Alexander Volkanovski and Max Holloway. The main card will see Miesha Tate compete with Lauren Murphy in the flyweight division.

While the event will also feature a pivotal matchup in the middleweight division (Sean Strickland vs. Alex Pereira),  Sean O’Malley taking on Pedro Munhoz, and Robbie Lawler‘s return.

UFC and Dana White are ruthless when it comes to competing against other sports. The UFC President believes the audience for UFC differs from other sports.
