One of the knockouts that American Mixed Martial Artist Stipe Miocic would remember would be the Heavyweight Championship bout against Fabricio Werdum at UFC 198. It took just one strike for Miocic to knock the Brazilian out in 2016.
Werdum started the fight aggressively but a right hand from a backpedaling Miocic was enough to knock Werdum out.

“When I was starting with the UFC, I said I was here for one thing and that was the heavyweight title. I didn’t know how long it was going to take. Every fight has made me a better fighter. I’ve had a few bumps in the road that I think have made me stronger. I’m just happy where I’m at. I’m getting better every day and I’ve got still a lot of time left in my career,” Miocic told UFC.com.
Stipe Miocic favored to win a potential fight against Jon Jones; Jones feels otherwise
Miocic fought his last fight against Daniel Cormier. He extended his record to 19-3-0 with a TKO victory over Cormier. The win also inflicted recent betting trends that showed odds in favor of Miocic in a potential super-fight against Jon Jones. Jones, however, did not agree and believed that he could beat Miocic.

“I feel like I really want to fight Stipe Miocic,” Jones told ESPN. “I feel like I could totally beat him, just based on his performances with DC, our speed differences, my fight IQ, my versatility, my faith and confidence, I think I’m the guy to beat him, for sure. And I want to strike while I’m feeling hot.”
The fight against Cormier also gave Miocic a few retinal problems, owing to which he is yet to schedule his next fight.
