UFC Vegas 20 is home to a heavyweight headlining scrap between top-ranked contenders Jairzinho Rozenstruik and Ciryl Gane.
The winner of the fight is likely one fight away from a title shot in what has become a hectic division. Chiefly, both men are coming off the biggest wins of their careers over former champion Junior Dos Santos.
Stipe Miocic will soon put his heavyweight strap on the line against Francis Ngannou at UFC 260 set for March. Although the path to the title after that is murky at best with the presence of Jon Jones, activity is always the key.

UFC Fight Night: Jairzinho Rozenstruik vs Ciryl Gane
The Surinamese fighter puts his #3 ranking on the line against Ciryl Gane, who is an undefeated prospect. He’s bounced back from the only loss of his pro career that came against Francis Ngannou at UFC 250. Gane will have to be wary of Rozenstruik’s switch stance kicks that he sets up in virtually all of his contests.

Rozenstruik is one of the most vicious kickboxers in the division and he carries fight-ending power late into the fight. This was on display when he faced Alistair Overeem in December 2019 and he KO’ed Overeem with 4 seconds left. Moreover, this feat is impressive considering that he was losing the fight until that point on the scorecards.
‘Bon Gamin’- All the way to the top
Ciryl Gane is 7-0 as a professional with 4 of those wins coming in the UFC. He is incredibly mobile for a heavyweight of his size and this has paid dividends in his run thus far.

What’s more, he’s one of only 6 UFC heavyweights to win a fight via Arm Triangle, showcasing his versatility. He joined the ranks of championship-caliber fighters like Randy Couture and Brock Lesnar when he pulled off this feat.

‘Bon Gamin’ is no pushover on the feat either, as he’s spent a meaningful amount of time training with Francis Ngannou at MMA Factory.

His striking is crisp from the outside without many wasted blows in tight range. With a sound defensive game, he should be able to breakdown the offense that will be brought forth by ‘Bigi Boy’.
Prediction: Ciryl Gane to claim a second-round TKO win
