UFC lightweights Bobby Green and Thiago Moises will open up the main card for UFC Fight Night: Hall vs Silva. The event marks the UFC’s return to the Apex Facility in Las Vegas after a fruitful stint on Fight Island. The company will close out the year in Las Vegas, and the aforementioned fight card is the first Halloween event.
Both the lightweight fighters mentioned above are fan-favorites with a style that calls out for bonuses. Bobby ‘King’ Green in particular has had an excellent 2020 thus far and has racked up ‘Performance of the Night’ bonuses. With the division soon to be without an undisputed champion, there’s a good chance that newer faces will begin to emerge.

‘King’ Green has entered an elite division of UFC fighters with his 2020 run. The California native is one of only twelve active fighters to scalp three wins this calendar year. His ‘kill or be killed’ outlook on fighting has kept him busy and productive inside the cage. Chiefly, with three straight decision wins to his name in 2020, the veteran fighter will like to close the show with a statement finish.
Bobby Green has tremendous power at 155-pounds and has a durable chin to boot. He’s not afraid to take a shot in order to step in striking range to throw down. Not to mention, he comes in with an extremely underrated ground game in terms of his defensive wrestling.
The American Top Team Fighter in Thiago Moises is arguably coming off the biggest win of his career in his last outing. He submitted divisional staple Michael Johnson with a nasty Achilles Lock in just 25 seconds of the second round. Moises will mostly look to remain consistent, as that element has definitely been lacking in his fights.

The 25-year-old Brazilian is proficient on the ground and will be threatened should he grab any available limb. However, with lackluster takedowns in his arsenal, getting Bobby Green to the ground will be a difficult task. Although he’s durable, having never been finished, Green’s power could certainly be the deciding factor.
Prediction: Bobby Green to claim a second-round TKO win.
