The richest man on Earth, with a net worth of $265.7 billion, shared a post with his massive 103.3 million followers on Twitter.
After sharing a view on the Republican and Democratic Party, Musk tweeted, “Also, I’m buying Manchester United ur welcome.”

The tweet floated on the internet and created a lot of noise in the sports-entertainment industry. However, Musk soon cleared the air around it as he answered if he was serious.
“No, this is a long-running joke on Twitter. I’m not buying any sports teams,” wrote Elon Musk.

Further, the Tesla & SpaceX CEO had a revelation about his tie with The Red Devils, “Although, if it were any team, it would be Man U. They were my fav team as a kid.”
United, founded in 1878, has been an iconic club that has won a record 13 English Premier League titles. However, their recent form hasn’t been the best that the fans have witnessed. Last week, Manchester United lost 4-0 to Brentford.
