Francis Ngannou left the UFC because he claimed that fighters have no control over their career. Now, 31-year-old PFL fighter Natan Schulte has questioned ‘The Predator’ regarding fighters’ rights after getting suspended by the promotion due to an uninspiring performance at PFL 6.

Natan Schulte went head-to-head against Raush Manfio at PFL 6. He scored a unanimous decision and extended his undefeated run to four wins. However, the PFL deemed the fight to be lacklustre. Following the bout, the promotion released a statement on their website and suspended both fighters from the 2023 season.

Following his suspension, ‘Russo’ took to Twitter and expressed his disappointment with the PFL’s decision. He said, “I am very unsatisfied with the decision that was taken by the PFL last night to favor Shane Burgos’ entry into the playoffs.
He mentioned how the updated card for the playoff semi-finals included Shane Burgos, who had a record of 1 win and 1 loss in his first PFL season.

In addition to that, Schulte also took a jibe at Francis Ngannou, citing his UFC 226 performance against Derrick Lewis. ‘The Predator’ won that fight with a unanimous decision. However, despite his win, the bout didn’t live up to the expectations as both fighters barely threw any punches. Schulte added, “You remember Francis Ngannou’s fight against Derrick Lewis he didn’t throw 6 punches in the whole fight and he wasn’t cut for his performance that night.

Schulte Questions Francis Ngannou

When the Cameroonian-French fighter joined the PFL, he earned a spot among the board members and became the Chairman of PFL’s expansion in Africa. Due to Francis Ngannou’s position in the promotion, Schulte questioned him about the legitimacy of his suspension. He wrote, “So I ask you Francis Ngannou since you protect the rights of the fighters, do you think the decision is correct?
