The Professional Fighters League (PFL) has announced some recent new signings and incredible additions to their roster for 2021. The 60 man roster has been completed and is ready for the start of multi-divisional tournaments worth millions of dollars. The new additions include some UFC veterans and former multi-organization world champions.
UFC veterans, Gleison Tibau and Aleksei Kunchenko, have joined the welterweight division of the PFL roster. Tibau, a formidable force in the UFC lightweight division formerly, has a professional record of 35-14 and holds wins over the likes of Rafael dos Anjos, Jeremy Stephens, and more. He has fought some of the best fighters in the game, including Tony Ferguson, Khabib Nurmagomedov, Nick Diaz, and more.
Kunchenko on the other hand is a former M-1 world champion and has never been finished in his professional MMA career. He got his 20-fight winning streak snapped by recent UFC title challenger Gilbert Burns in 2019.

Chris Wade and Anthony Dizy have joined the featherweight division of the promotion. Wade is a former lightweight playoff contender of PFL MMA. He is making a move down to the 145lbs division as he looks to challenge champion Lance Palmer.
Jason Ponet at welterweight, and Anthony Dizy at lightweight, are the first French fighters to compete in the promotion. The organization will look to expand its market in the European circuit with these signings.
Women’s lightweights, Kaitlin Young and Taylor Guardado, have joined the roster too. Young made her professional debut back in 2007 and is considered as one of the pioneers of women’s MMA. She famously had 3 knockouts in one night, including a head kick KO of Miesha Tate.
Light-heavyweight fighter Nick Roehrick has joined the 205lbs division to conclude the full roster of the organization.
PFL MMA has been making all sorts of positive impacts lately
Apart from the recent additions, the promotion has added former UFC champions like Anthony ‘Showtime’ Pettis and Fabricio Werdum to their payroll for the 2021 season. PFL President of Fighter Operations, Ray Sefo, has been making all the right moves and the fans will be extremely eager to see the fighting begin.
