With a net worth of $120 million, Joe Rogan is financially set in life. However, there was a time in his life when the world’s number one podcast host felt like a ‘loser’ because of one activity he did after high school. In a conversation with Green Bay Packers player, Aaron Rodgers on a $200 million-worth Spotify podcast, Rogan reflected upon that phase of his life.

The Taekwondo & BJJ blackbelt, Rogan, and Packers quarterback A-Rod talked about various things on The Joe Rogan Experience podcast. However, one that came as a surprise was the Spotify podcaster’s story about one of his decision after high school.
Rogan said, “One of the biggest times in my life where I felt like a loser was right out of high school – because I took a year off. And I remember telling people that I’m gonna take a year off.”
Rodgers chimed in and cheekily said, “How could you!”
The 55-year-old continued, “It’s Boston too, which is very hardcore, blue-collar workers and educated people that work hard; Like everybody works hard in Boston… Like everybody works. So, me taking a year off was like, ummm, ruining your f**ing life. Joe’s going to be a loser.
Thus, under the pressure of living up to the expectations of Boston, Rogan made a choice. He added, “I really only went to college so that people didn’t think I was a loser,” added Rogan.
Both the JRE host and his guest had a laugh before Rogan said, “That’s true.”
Things worked out well for Joe Rogan
The JRE host has previously talked about a teacher, who offered “Mr. Rogan is never going to amount to anything”. However, with what he has already achieved in life, that statement is far from the truth.

Since Rogan was never interested in a typical desk job, he was never been part of one. The JRE host found success as a comic actor, TV host, Cagefighting commentator, and standup artist.
Currently, Rogan is one of the most popular figures in not only combat sports or the podcast world, but in America. Most things discussed on his podcast become instant news and a topic of discussion amongst major media outlets.
