Tom Brady, arguably the greatest football player in the history of the NFL, retired from the sport this past week. Many fans hoped to see one more season from the 44-year-old. Among those, was Brady’s good friend and UFC President Dana White.

White, who was from Boston, is a massive fan of Brady. He moved to Las Vegas almost two decades ago and spends his time in ‘The Fight Capital of the World’. Hence, he had tried to convince Brady to play for the Las Vegas Raiders.

He told TMZ, “I was hammering him [Brady] to come to Vegas and play for the Raiders.”

Though Brady didn’t answer with a clear ‘No’, he, according to White, sent a cryptic message. The UFC head honcho said, “He texted me back ‘hahaha’, you’re amazing, is what he said when I said come to the Raiders”

When Brady was looking for a new team after 20 years with New England Patriots, White hyped the possibility of Brady taking snaps at the Allegiant Stadium (Home of the Raiders). However, Brady went to Florida and signed with Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Tom Brady loves the UFC and Golf

Tom Brady has played 22 NFL seasons and has 7 Super Bowl wins. Now that he has retired, he can focus on things outside the NFL. Apparently, Brady loves playing golf and can certainly try his hand in this sport as well.

The former Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback, Brady, loves the UFC and comes to UFC live events whenever he can. Also, he often shares his opinion about the UFC fights.

The legendary quarterback, apart from being a fan of the UFC and playing golf, also invested in the UFC back in 2016. As WME-IMG purchased the UFC for $4 billion, it offered its clients the chance to invest in the company for a small stake. 23 celebrities, including Tom Brady, invested in the UFC.
