UFC President Dana White is a big fan of Tom Brady and it’s a well-known fact. That said, White is more than an ordinary fan since the two share a cordial relationship. White has previously pushed Brady to play for Las Vegas Raiders since the UFC honcho lives in Vegas. However, Brady never came to or hinted at playing for the Raiders, but the latest revelation from White suggests otherwise.

The 53-year-old UFC President recently revealed not only Tom Brady but even his former teammate Rob Gronkowski could have been part of The Men in the Black. However, there was one hurdle to it. On the UFC 278 with the Gronks show, White revealed it and the Gronkowski confirmed it.

According to Dana White, Tom Brady and Rob Gronkowski would’ve gone to the Las Vegas Raiders, but Jon Gruden blew the deal.

White even said, “I worked to put that deal together for Brady and Gronk to come to the Raiders. And it was almost a done deal. And at the last minute, Gruden blew the deal up and said that he didn’t want it and all hell broke loose, man. It was crazy and Brady was already looking at houses…”
The former NFL coach Jon Gruden, who has been a part of the NFL for over a decade, was the reason behind the deal with the Raiders never coming to fruition.
Dana White wanted Tom Brady to play for the Raiders
UFC President pestered California Cool to take NFL Retirement back to don Raiders’ Jersey earlier this year.
Currently, the 45-year-old is in the news for taking an unprecedented training-camp hiatus. Brady was also on the UFC investors list alongside Serena Williams, Ben Affleck, and others. Also, he often makes appearances at UFC events, besides mentioning UFC fighters on his social media.

Thus, being a fight fan, a move to Vegas would have meant more appearances from the legendary quarterback during UFC events.
