UFC President Dana White spoke about the Jon Jones situation for the first time after Jones’ Tweets. In an interview with Eddie Hearn on the “Talk the Talk“ Podcast, Dana spoke about his altercation with “Jones”.
Apparently, Dana is confident that Jones will be back on the UfC’s side. He said,
“You’re not always going to agree on everything. Jon Jones and I do not agree on something right now. We’re having a disagreement. But Jon Jones is a partner in this business. Conor McGregor is a partner in this business. The list goes on and on. When you get to that level, when you become a star or a world champion like these guys are, they’re a partner.”

Of course, when fighters get to a stance where their names sell PPVs, they come into a partnership with the UFC to ultimately make more and more money while providing fans with fights that they long for. And Dana acknowledges the fact Jones is at that level.
Moreover, Dana has immense respect for Jones. He has also stated on many occasions that Jones is the one true GOAT of MMA. However, the disagreement with Jones continues to stretch further.
While White is always ready to entitle Jones to “a little more money”; which according to Daniel Cormier, could mean millions; Dana said that Jones is demanding an “insane” amount of money.

“We don’t agree right now on things, and we’re going to fight and we say things, the thing that’s going on in public, and eventually you get to a point where you get tired of fighting and you figure it out. It’s like any other relationship.”
Thus, Dana White seems extremely sure of the fact that he will reach a middle ground with Jon Jones eventually. Do you think that Jones will fight in the Light Heavyweight Division again?
