EA has attempted to build upon the immersion of the career mode of the previous version. Having a look at the trailer, it seems that they have succeeded at the task. What are the new features in the Career mode of UFC 4
Arguably the first character you will come across in the game will be Coach Davis. The Career mode will now begin with fighters beginning their careers in the amateur ranks. Your performance in the amateur circuit will play a big role in your progression as a fighter.
A new addition is also that of a minor league, known as the World Fighter’s Association or WFA. Moreover, you can remain in the minor league for the entirety of your career. The new edition will also provide you a chance of rejecting fight offers. However, there will be a negative effect on declining too many fights, even resulting in relegation.

The biggest addition comes with how the fighter evolves his skill set. Going beyond the mundane drills, the new system will award Evolution Points to upgrade various attributes. Moreover, every move that you make will improve in real-time.
The interpersonal relationship between different fighters, coaches, and camps will receive an increased share of attention. Fighters can increase their compatibility with certain opponents and bring them in to train together. This way they’ll be able to learn a specific skill set from that particular fighter.

At last, UFC 4 comes with the feature of an unscripted storyline. That means you can even become a heal if you want to. All in all, the steps that a player takes will eventually end up paving his career as a fighter, just like the real world.
