If you want unwavering confidence in your life, look no further than Colby Covington’s Instagram account. The former interim champ had made two predictions for the UFC events held at Jacksonville recently. None of them went on to be true. Regardless, just like his usual self, Colby Covington is back on social media with his pick for tonight’s event.

UFC Fight Night 176 will take place at the VyStar Veterans Memorial Arena tonight. Alistair Overeem vs Walt Harris will headline the event, which will be the third one within a week.

For all the three events, Colby Covington made a prediction. According to him, he was helping people get richer. However, if anyone had seriously put their money on the line they would have already lost twice by now.

“Chaos” presents his picks in association with MyBookie. For UFC 249, he had given Dominick Cruz the edge over Henry Cejudo. For UFC Fight Night 175, the former NCAA Division I wrestler picked Andrei Arlovski to get knocked out by Philipe Lins.

Both of these predictions panned out otherwise. Nonetheless, America’s champ is back yet again.

Colby Covington picks Walt Harris over Alistair Overeem

For tonight’s event, Covington appealed people to bet not just for themselves but for their nation. The Fort Lauderdale native ridiculed Overeem for his steroid abuse.

“The stars have aligned in Jacksonville tonight. We can make money while feeling good doing it. Why? Cause we are betting for America and we are betting against steroid-using, horse-meat eating Dutch boy Overeem.

“So go simulate the economy. Be an American patriot. Go bet Walt Harris and make those bank accounts great again,” Covington said on Instagram.

This edition of Colby’s picks was the same as the previous ones. All of them center around him degrading the name of a fighter and picking the winner.

Alistair Overeem will be the favorite heading into the fight. The former DREAM and Strikeforce champion has split his last six fights in the UFC. The defeats have all come via a stoppage. The former Dutch kickboxer will look to leverage his experience against the No. 9 ranked Harris.

Walt Harris, on the other hand, has gone 3-0-1 in his last four bouts. However, he is coming off the tragic death of his daughter. It will be interesting to see if Harris can keep the tragedy behind him and perform to his potential against Overeem.
