And here we have it! After fighting perhaps the toughest battle of his life, Dana White has finally turned UFC 249 into a reality.

Looks like the coronavirus will not be starving fight fans of entertainment any longer! All thanks to the persevering UFC Boss. Moreover, he did not just overcome all possible hurdles that a deadly pandemic could throw his way, but also made UFC 249 the “most stacked” card.
The event will be headlined by the Interim Lightweight title bout between Tony Ferguson and Justin Gaethje. Usually, a regular fight card of a UFC fight night would hold only one event of such staggering magnitude. Yet, the fight card for UFC 249 is filled with them.

Unfortunately, recent reports suggest that Rose Namajunas has pulled out of her fight due to undisclosed reasons. Nevertheless, fights like Francis Ngannou vs. Rozenstruik, Jeremy Stephens vs. Clavin Kattar and many more promise to make UFC 249 the most memorable fight night yet.
How exactly will UFC 249 proceed?
A UFC event as enormous as the one on 18 April will attract an unbelievable amount of spectators. However, in the midst of the ongoing pandemic, a live audience was the first thing that Dana White struck off the list. The event will only be available for PPV on ESPN+.
The next thing unique thing about the event is its location.

And the unique thing about that is it remains undisclosed. Yes, following extreme safety measures, Dana White has confirmed that while a location has been agreed upon, it will not be disclosed to anyone. All staff and fighters involved in the event will gather at a rendezvous point, from where they will be taken to this secret location.
Moreover, for international fights, Dana White has even secured a private island on international waters.
