MMA fighter, Ro Malabanan, has gone viral for his recent deed on the streets of New York City. The combat sports athlete reportedly took down an assault suspect. The online MMA community reacted to this news.

New York Post reported it on Twitter. Their social media handle wrote, “MMA fighter detains NYC assault suspect in Soho.”

Therefore, several comments poured in.

Per DailyMail, the incident took place when the athlete was roaming the streets of New York City. He saw a ‘crazy’ homeless man punching a construction worker. Hence, the 44-year-old reacted immediately. In a fraction of a second, he grappled the man to the ground.

Additionally, the MMA fighter revealed later that, before engaging in the altercation, he thought about his mother.
