While Khabib Nurmagomedov has dominated former champion, Conor McGregor and the interim champion, Dustin Poirier in his title reign, Tony Ferguson has brutalized Anthony Pettis and Donald Cerrone ever since he came back after the injury. Before this, the fight between Ferguson and Nurmagomedov has been planned four times, yet because of injuries and botched weight cut, fans are yet to see these two lightweights fight each other in the octagon.

It’s undoubtedly the biggest fight in the lightweight division at the moment considering both have been on a winning streak for years now. Tony Ferguson never lost the interim lightweight champion that he won against Kevin Lee back in 2017. Hence it certainly makes sense to match him up against the unbeaten, Khabib Nurmagomedov.

Do you think Tony Ferguson is the guy to put an end to the streak of Khabib Nurmagomedov or the Russian is going to reign as long as he decides to compete in the octagon?
