Dana White had to deal with a lot of failed fights this week. Yet, the UFC headman still managed to pull off a stellar event in the promotion’s return to Las Vegas.

While White is no stranger to pressure, he admitted the past few days to be the craziest week ever. The promotion already saw a fight falling off after Charlie Ontiveros failed to make weight for his bout against Markus Perez.

However, another fight between Trevin Giles and Kevin Holland fell through. Both the fighters had made weight and were ready to go all in. Unfortunately, Trevin Giles fainted before the fight, delivering another blow to the fans.

Dana White opens up on the failed fights at UFC on ESPN 31

In the post-fight press conference, White was asked to state how he coped up with the unexpected complications. Although White maintained his ever-so-stoic demeanor, he did not shy away from admitting the toll it took on him.

This week’s event saw a lot of medical complications amongst the fighters. A notion that alarmed the promotion and rightly so. Joanne Calderwood fainted backstage after her loss against Jennifer Maia and was taken to a nearby hospital.

And the next to collapse was Trevin Giles, moments ahead of his walkout for the contest against Kevin Holland. Needless to say, Holland had to depart the arena without having broken a sweat.

However, White revealed that Holland was ready to fight anyone after Giles failed to make it to the octagon.

Dana White also praised Holland for keeping that mentality and said, “This was the fu**** craziest week ever, we got through it, we are here, he fainted, Holland couldn’t have had a better attitude about you know the fight pulling out, he was ready to fight tonight if we ended up getting Herman back.”
