If you thought Colby Covington wanting to feed Tyron Woodley to the sharks was insane, what he said next might even shock you more.

Despite the pandemic and worldwide lockdowns, UFC president Dana White exploited some loopholes in the system. White has decided to continue running his business. And it seems like nothing is going to stop him. Recently, White announced that he has secured an Island to organize international fights.

The news got many fighters excited. Colby Covington was one of the first men to throw his name in the hat. ‘Chaos’ wants to fight longtime rival Tyron Woodley on White’s private island. Moreover, he stated his intentions to feed the former champion to the sharks.

“When I embarrass Tyron Woodley and whisper in his ear, how big of a bit*h he is and how much of a pu**y he is. As I make him quit. I remove his conscience and then they feed him to the sharks on the private island. This needs to be on free TV. This does not need to be on PPV.”

Leaving the trash talk aside, Covington explained the real reason he wants the fight to be free. He believes that putting the match on PPV will be a gamble. However, he stuck with his belief that the fight won’t sell much.

“I think on PPV, that’s tricky. There are not going to buy in this as many eyes on it.”

“Then again people have nothing to do. They are betting on the weather. So, give them something to bet on. Maybe their life will be a little bit more entertained.”

The idea of having free fights will not please Dana White at all. A huge part of the UFC’s revenue comes from PPVs and other paid streaming services. Having two of the biggest fighters in the company fight for free, will not be economically feasible. Although White has done many charitable donations, at the end of the day, he is a businessman.
