Korean Zombie Calls For Title Shot
The Korean fans blew the roof of the arena cheering for their favorite mixed martial artist. Chan Sung Jung did what he was expected to do and later on called out the newly crowned champion, Alexander Volkanovski. This win over Frankie Edgar certainly takes him very close to the title shot. However, with contenders such as Yair Rodriguez and Zabit Magamedsharipov in the division, he is unlikely to get the next crack at the title.

As far as Frankie Edgar is concerned, it was another loss in the featherweight division. It’s safe to say that we have already seen the best of Edgar and he is not the same fighter who outclassed BJ Penn. However, fans were hoping to see a new Edgar in the bantamweight division. After another loss in the featherweight division, it’s safe to say that Bantamweight is the only answer for the former lightweight champion.
