And as if that was not enough, Conor McGregor just revealed that UFC is working on the trilogy fight with Nate Diaz.

The lightweight division is full of some of the biggest and baddest names in UFC including Khabib Nurmagomedov, Tony Ferguson, Conor McGregor, and Justin Gaethje. It was Khabib Nurmagomedov who was supposed to defend his title against Tony Ferguson at UFC 249. However, due to the pandemic that fight fall apart and Gaethje replaced him to headline UFC 249. And that leaves Conor McGregor without any opponent.

Conor McGregor was speculated to fight for the lightweight title against the winner of Khabib Nurmagomedov and Tony Ferguson. However, since Tony and Justin are fighting for the interim title, the winner is guaranteed to fight Khabib Nurmagomedov next. However, Conor wants to return to the octagon in July. But it did not seem feasible since Conor had no opponents to take on.
