Francis Ngannou took to Twitter to express his views on the recent Jon Jones incident. The fighter took a neutral approach to the situation, neither flaying nor siding with the latter. Here is what he had to say.

“It’s funny to sit back and see how people are going crazy about Jon Jones. Obviously he needs to get his sh*t together. I’m not defending him but people shouldn’t throw stones like we are all perfect. I hope this guy gets back to where he needs to be – entertaining the world.”

With a unique take on the matter, the Cameroonian, in his own way, stated that Colby Covington, someone always in the media spotlight for the wrong things, should not be commenting on Jones.

Francis Ngannou says he can beat Jon Jones

In a recent interview, Francis spoke about the possibility of ‘Bones’ moving to the Heavyweight Division.

He expressed his admiration for Jones’ exceptional fighting skills. Further, he stated that the American has rightfully earned his spot at the top position by beating the best fighters in the octagon.

When asked whether he thinks of Jones as a challenge, Francis said that anyone who does not think so is “crazy, a little bit”.

However, Francis said that he would emerge the winner if the two are ever on the card. He would study ‘Bones’ more thoroughly should the fighter move up the division, thus ensuring his victory.
