Colby Covington Following His Loss To Kamaru Usman
Following his loss to Usman, Covington has set himself on the path to prove his mettle in the octagon. There is a lot of controversy around this fight.
Many feel that the stopped came too early. The question is when the referee should stop a fight? Is it when a fighter is in danger or when he or she is taking too much damage on the ground. For they are two very different things.

However, the grit, the toughness, and the chin that the two fighters were displaying during the course of the fight is extremely impressive.
Usman took some very heavy shots to the head and a kick early on in the fight and he just walked through it like nothing had happened. Showing his ability to strike with fatal precision Usman put up one hell of a show.

However, the amount of heart that Covington displays is absolutely remarkable. Covington chose striking over wrestling as he was able to predict that Usman would be expecting Covington to try and take him down.
The fighters put up a great fight overall, however, it was not enough for the American. And it looks like Covington has come out of this loss with a thirst for vindication and is determined to prove that he is top dog in his division.
