Jon Jones is arguably the most controversial champion in UFC history. However, his past does not stop him from becoming a better man every single day. In a recent tweet, “Bones” revealed how he has been keeping his mind and soul healthy.
Jones has witnessed his fair share of controversies in the past. From multiple DWIs to doping violations, he has faced a ton of backlash throughout his career. His most recent infraction happened in March when he was found drunk in his car with a handgun.

Despite the aforementioned incidents, Jones has somehow managed to get through it all. The UFC light heavyweight champion managed to turn his life around. A couple of weeks ago, he was seen defending the streets of Albuquerque from vandals during the George Floyd protests.

The American fighter is a Christian and has strong faith in Jesus Christ. Jones even tattooed “Philippians 4:13” on his chest. It’s easy to think that Jones is doing it for publicity. However, he has been firm on his belief for a long time.
“We just pray man. We thank God so much for all the blessings he has done in my life. And for having healthy children and what he’s doing in our brothers’ lives. And for the progression and the maturity that he’s allowed me to have,” Jon Jones told MMA Junkie in 2015.

As of now, Jones is in a contract dispute with the UFC. The champion has threatened to vacate the belt and leave the company if his demands are not met. His last fight was against Dominick Reyes, a match that he almost lost.
