Brian Ortega Lauds Alexander Volkanovski
Brian Ortega will face the undefeated fighter in the UFC Alexander Volkanovski in a featherweight title bout at UFC 266. ‘The Great’ is one of the most prominent names in the UFC and has an undefeated career in the promotion so far.
In a recent interview with Helen Yee, ‘T-City’ praised his opponent for his accomplishments in the sport. He said, “Well, he’s the best. If you look at him, he’s the best. He’s the champ, he has the belt for a reason; he beat Max twice.”

He added, “I take no credit from anyone. You have to look at their accomplishments and what they’re good at and what they’ve done. He’s got something that people don’t have, that the world has yet to catch up on. So I take nothing lightly, I look at everything and I see what I can look at and study from him. And say you know this is why we fight.”
Even though both the fighters have taken shots at each other before getting into the octagon, this interview shows that the 15-1 record holder has some respect for the current champ. However, this won’t stop him from giving his best against him in the fight. This fight will surely garner a lot of attention from the combat fans.
