Justin Gaethje put on a dominant performance to demolish Tony Ferguson and claim the UFC Interim Lightweight Championship. Conor McGregor ridicules Khabib Nurmagomedov

The first UFC fighter to hold simultaneously hold belts in 2 weight divisions tweeted, Khabib you absolute embarrassment. Scurrying, hiding rat as usual. As I have said many times. ‘Notorious’ and ‘The Eagle’ have had no love lost between them. The duo has been at war since UFC 223. This was when the Irishman and his entourage launched a bus assault on the media day.

Later at UFC 229, ‘The Eagle’ tapped ‘Notorious’ and launched a post-fight assault on Dillon Danis. While recollecting that incident, the 3rd ranked Lightweight fighter also used the terms “scurrying” and “rat” to describe the undefeated Lightweight Champion. In another tweet, he termed the 28-0 fighter “the biggest bottle fighter in the game.”

‘Notorious’ seems to have taken care to keep himself in the reckoning for a future Championship fight. While advising ‘The Highlight’ that a “leg hugger” presents no danger, he also sent the Interim Lightweight Champion a stern warning.

While he mocks the leg wrap, he will not have forgotten the way it decimated him on October 6th, 2018. Fans too may consider these comments quite rich, coming from ‘Notorious.’
