Khabib Nurmagomedov has established his dominance inside the UFC Octagon. With the Lightweight belt around his waist, Nurmagomedov is still a puzzle that 28 fighters have tried and failed to crack. Khabib laid the foundation stone of his unblemished legacy with a record-setting performance in his fourth UFC fight. Nurmagomedov met Trujillo at UFC 160 in 2013. At the weigh-ins, the Sambo world champion weighed in two and a half pounds over the Lightweight limit. The fight was consequently switched to a catchweight bout. Khabib also had to lose a portion of his purse to Trujillo. However, after that Khabib made sure that he only won and lost nothing in the fight.

He had competed in wresting since high-school. He was a four-time NAIA All-American. However, Khabib showed there are multiple levels to the fight game.
