Kamaru Usman fight plans are Coronavirus’ next victim. Sporting events all around the world have either been canceled or postponed due to the pandemic scare.

Kamaru Usman was supposed to fight his bitter foe Jorge Masvidal sometime this July. But all proceedings are on hold. Uncertainty fills the air around all the upcoming UFC fights and this one is no different.
We need to wait and watch what the UFC officials have in store for us. Is it just postponed? Or canceled? Will the fighter’s dates now match once the pandemic settles down? And more importantly when will this pandemic settle down?
A lot of questions and almost no answers. Like the fans, even the fighters are disappointed with the delay. Kamaru Usman, in particular. He was looking forward to his fight against Jorge Masvidal. Masvidal and Usman have been throwing shots at each other like there is no tomorrow.
Kamaru Usman is eager to fight again
Kamaru Says the pandemic has soiled all his plans for International Fight Week. The fight was almost certain to go down. Dana White had said this is a fight that he wants to see. When Dana wants something, it is most likely to happen.

Usman is certain this match will happen. Now or later he isn’t sure. But it will most definitely go down. Hw will meet Jorge Masvidal within the confinements of the octagon and that’s a guarantee.

Usman said, “ Make no mistake, it’s a blockbuster. It is going to be the main event. It just depends on where they want to do it.” Usman in an interview with TMZ said he doesn’t mind even flying down to a remote city in Africa if it’s required. He will go anywhere. Fight anywhere. As long as he gets his hands on Masvidal.
COVID-19 has paused all major sporting events. When they will resume isn’t certain and probably not anytime in the immediate future. Will these fights take place in a secluded arena without the presence of a live audience? Or will they wait for this scare to blow over and then resume sport?
