UFC president Dana White has been successful in hosting his ambitious’s Fight Island amid the global outbreak of COVID-19. While the entire planet potentially went under lockdown to curb the deadly bug, Dana White did not give up on his pre-scheduled live events. As promised to the fans, Dana White secured a private island in Abu Dhabi. And hosted three consecutive live UFC events from the spot. The concluding event of Fight Island is yet to be materialized. However, it seems that Dana White won’t participate in the event physically.
After spear-heading three massive live events, White clarifies himself to be tired. Thus, Dana is expected to remain in the US when Whittaker and Till collide on July 25. Speaking to ESPN, White reflected on his current situation and praised Abu Dhabi for their hospitality. However, he also revealed his departure from the Middle East a couple of hours ago.

Dana White is not going to be a part of UFC Fight Night 174
Dana White is seemingly expecting fireworks in the main event of UFC Fight Night 174. Yet, White is not going to experience it live from Abu Dhabi. The 50-year-old is tired at this point. And he is planning to host the upcoming Fight Island event from his home country.“I am so tired. It has been incredible. Nobody does it like Abu Dhabi” said Dana.
The UFC chief also applauded Abu Dhabi for the super hospitality. Dana has been praising Abu Dhabi since his resurgence into the nation. And it seems that the UFC chief has a point behind that. “This is a really beautiful place to come with so many cool things obviously we are in the safety zone and what they were able to do for us here is beyond incredible.”
“I appreciate everything they did for us and it has been a cool experience,” told Dana to ESPN.
Whittaker vs Till at the UFC Fight Island
The concluding event of UFC Fight Island holds a stacked card. Apart from Whittaker vs Till, Fight Night 174 is also set to witness ‘The Mauler’s’ return. Alexander Gustafsson is set to break retirement. And is ready to confront Fabricio Werdum on his heavyweight debut.
Although there’s no title put on the line. Dana White has put some legit killers in the fight card of Fight Night 174. The much-awaited event will go live on July 25 from Yas Island in Abu Dhabi.
