Khabib Nurmagomedov and Conor McGregor are the biggest rivals in MMA. It all began when Khabib slapped Conor’s teammate Artem Lobov because of the comments Artem had made regarding Khabib. As revenge, Conor attacked the bus Khabib was travelling in. All these incidents eventually led to their match in 2018.
The fight itself was a complete domination by the champion. Khabib took down Conor on multiple occasions and punished him with brutal ground and pound. Eventually, the Eagle was able to submit the challenger in the fourth round.

Although the match is seen as domination by Khabib, the third round belonged to the challenger according to the judges.

However, it does not matter whether Khabib lost the third round. Eventually, he was able to get the finish.
