Conor McGregor is keeping MMA fans extremely entertained in the absence of a UFC event this week. The Lightweight fighter, like anyone else, has his opinion on the best and released a “GOAT THREAD.” Safe to say, not everyone was satisfied with the ‘Notorious’ choices. This included Nate Diaz, who lashed out at the Irish fighter.

Nate Diaz Slams Conor McGregor for his “GOAT THREAD”

Diaz wrote, “Smoked the #1 p4p and double champ know the real Goat when you see him. And don’t for get I did it better and quicker than anyone else on the ground and sent him down with punches quicker than Mayweather did so f**k alll y’all rankings and know a real goat when you see me. Diaz added three images from his first win over ‘Notorious.’ Two images show him atop the Irishman and the final one features the infamous rear-naked choke which handed McGregor his first loss in the UFC.

Diaz highlighted the fact that he has the quickest win over the Lightweight contender. At UFC 196, he defeated ‘Notorious’ via submission in the 2nd round. Khabib Nurmagomedov submitted McGregor in round 4, whilst Floyd Mayweather triumphed via TKO in round 10.

Furthermore, the Welterweight fighter seemingly settled the debate saying, “P4p the baddest motherf***er here f**k all y’all.”

Diaz stepped up at short notice to replace Rafael dos Anjos and shocked the world. However, ‘Notorious’ returned the favor 5 months later at UFC 202. He triumphed in a majority decision win.

The calls for a Trilogy fight between the two have gained momentum in recent weeks. This is because events at UFC 249 have left ‘Notorious’ without a top tier Lightweight opponent for his July return.
