Michael Bisping and Yoel Romero have quite a history. Bisping, who is a former middleweight champion almost fought Yoel Romero at one point. The fight may have not happened but it gave us a lot of entertaining moments.
During his fighting days, Bisping was known for his trash-talking abilities. He always portrayed himself as the bad guy and tried to get into his opponent’s heads. Bisping works as an analyst cum commentator for the UFC.

The history between Michael Bisping and Yoel Romero
After his victory over Chris Weidman in 2016, Yoel Romero called out then-champion, Michael Bisping. It was one of the most entertaining call-outs in UFC history. Romero said, “I love you Mike…See you soon, boy.”
Bisping responded by showing him the middle finger and made signs of syringes. Indicating steroid usage by Romero. Although Romero has claimed that he does not use any anabolic substances, many believe otherwise. Michael Bisping was one of them.

However, Romero did fail a USADA drug test for a banned substance. But, it was later proved that the failed test was a result of a contaminated supplement. Romero later sued the company responsible for the product.

Had Romero won the interim title match against Robert Whittaker, Michael Bisping vs Yoel Romero would have been booked for the undisputed championship. However, it did not happen.

Although Romero is 42 years old, he is still competing and is in great shape. He will get a third crack at the middleweight title against Israel “the last Stylebender” Adesanya at UfC 248.
